Information Meetings & Next Steps
Informational meetings will be offered quarterly to provide an overview of Sojourn Counseling. These meetings are scheduled so that you will have approximately 6 weeks to prayerfully decide to commit and complete the application process.

What Are My “Next Steps” If I Attended the Info Meeting?
1. Commit. Prayerfully consider God’s call on your life as you consider the obligation and sacrifice you will be called upon to accept if you choose to apply and are accepted into the Sojourn Counseling ministry. Please talk with your spouse, family, and those affected by your decision. Ensure they fully support your decision to join this ministry.
2. Apply. Complete the application and turn it in to the office or e-mail it to counseling@sojournchurch.com
3. Purchase. Your Porterbrook notebooks can be purchased for $30 and picked up at the Sojourn Counseling Office #202 at the Germantown campus during the week and at the book table on Sundays at Germantown and East campus. You will also need to pick up your corresponding Sojourn Counseling material that will be released on a monthly basis.
4. Study. The Porterbrook and the Sojourn Counseling materials are designed for self-study. You will need to be intentional about setting aside sufficient time throughout the week so that you can learn the required and essential knowledge in the midst of your busy schedule. More details about required training for Sojourn Counseling can be found at Gospel Counseling Training.
